About The French Fairy
Welcome to The French Fairy — a personalised support service created to make everyday life a little easier and more enjoyable. My name is Florence, and I offer help with home tasks, childcare, and NDIS support.
Based in the Adelaide Hills, I provide services across the Hills, southern suburbs and nearby city suburbs of Adelaide.
My Mission
My mission is to bring ease, comfort and genuine support into people’s lives. Whether I’m helping in the home, caring for children or supporting someone through their daily routine, I aim to create a calm, positive environment where people feel respected, safe and cared for.
About
My name is Florence
I’ve supported many families and individuals over the years and I love being able to make a real difference in their lives. I believe that even small things like folded laundry, a clean kitchen or a shared conversation can bring a bit of lightness and peace to someone’s day.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me painting, writing, reading, or spending time in nature. I also enjoy long walks, markets, and anything creative.
The French Fairy is more than a service — it’s a blend of practicality, kindness and a little touch of magic. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how I can help bring ease and care into your home too.

Home support
Think of me as an extra pair of hands to help you manage the everyday tasks that your cleaner may not have time for. I’m not here to replace your cleaner, but to support you with the little things that help your home feel calm, tidy and welcoming. Over the years, I’ve helped many people with their homes, and I truly take pride in making their space feel looked after and cared for.

I can assist with:
• Laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
• Ironing
• Cooking and meal preparation
• Dishes and kitchen cleaning
• Tidying and light organising
• Changing bed sheets
• Cleaning out the fridge or cupboards (inside only)
• Quick vacuuming of small areas (such as the kitchen or hallway)
• Emptying bins
• Resetting the house to help it feel clean and fresh again.
While I offer a wide range of support, I do not provide full house cleaning. For example, I do not clean bathrooms or toilets, and I do not vacuum or mop all floors in the house. I’m happy to help with many things, but I reserve the right to decline certain requests depending on what is involved.
I only use natural cleaning products for health reasons and I am happy to discuss what can be used in your home. If needed, I can provide my own products for an additional five dollars per session. Please note that I use the equipment available in your home, such as your vacuum or iron.
Whether you need help keeping up with the laundry, preparing fresh meals, or simply getting your space back in order after a busy week, I am here to help so you can spend more time doing what matters most — enjoying life with your family.
Child care
With years of experience working as a nanny and au pair for many different families, I bring a calm, caring and creative approach to looking after children. I believe childhood should be full of exploration, imagination and gentle structure, and that’s exactly what I aim to support.
I value screen-free time and encourage activities that nurture creativity and well-being: drawing, crafts, building, reading, storytelling and lots of play. I love spending time in nature, going for walks, visiting the library or simply playing outside. I also enjoy cooking with children and involving them in everyday tasks in a fun and age-appropriate way, whether it’s baking muffins, folding laundry or helping in the garden.
One of the things I value most is following children’s interests. If your child is passionate about trains, we’ll look for books about trains, build train tracks together or even visit a train museum. I believe in creating a positive environment where children feel free to explore and learn, while still having clear boundaries and a safe, respectful structure.
While I enjoy preparing activities and spending quality time with your child, I also recognise the importance of independent play. During those moments, I’m happy to assist with light housekeeping, laundry or meal preparation. And if your little one wants to join in, I always welcome helping hands.
Above all, your child’s happiness, safety and well-being will always be my number one priority.
NDIS support
With years of experience supporting NDIS participants, I offer personalised and flexible services designed to make daily life easier, more enjoyable, and more connected. I’m passionate about helping people feel supported and respected in their routines, whether at home, out in the community, or through everyday activities.

"Florence has been absolutely amazing in helping me with the house. She’s efficient and gets so much done in such a short time. It’s the best feeling to come home to delicious meals in the fridge and fresh, clean bed sheets. The kids adore her too! I honestly can’t imagine my life without her anymore."
